Are you serious does Matt really have an Uncle Bender? That's awesome! I wonder if Zoidberg also fits into this catagory, sounds Jewish to me. Is Matt Jewish?

What was Matt's uncle Bender's last name? Was it Groaning as well? Also, I've run into a lot of Zoidbergs out there, so I guess it is possible that Matt had a relative named Zoidberg too.

Matt is a member of the Church of Christ, Scientist. That would explain why you never hear about him going to the doctor or checking into a hospital. As I recall his uncle Bender's last name was Boudrois (Matt's mom's maiden name), not Zoidberg.

Maybe Matt's half Zoidberg.

Question is, which half?!

Probably the pink salty half if he's anything like Zoidberg. Zoidberg's a bit like an alien lobster without a shell, right?

RDS, Do you think it would be possible to set up a time when a bunch of artist could be on in one chat area at the same time to answer questions? That way us fans could get straight anwsers to our Futurama questions. Maybe post the time on the PEEL website.

Rough Draft, Nice, so this is a RDS Test site huh? I wish somebody would have sent me the address sooner, instead I had to find out about it from The Futurama P.E.E.L message board. Enjoyed the Sang Cam but does that guy ever move? I'm not sure how much the fans are going to learn about Futurama but I think it will give them good insite to what it takes to be great animators ( imagination, creativity and a sincerely twisted sense of humor. . .Oh and you must also be an AMAZING! artist that has a passion for drawing 20 hrs a day, 6 days a week). But all that aside, it's a darn good read. Greg, Claudia and Rich, I love you guys because you're this crazy, it's the best studio site in town, congratulations. B

Well, there's some pretty big words in there, so I think we can safely rule out Brad Mullen. My money's on Bret Maaland.
btw, I'm still waiting to hear Rich Moore's answer to DDCC's question. Which is it, Rich? And no "I liked them equally the same" bullcr@p!

Okay, here's a question for you guys:
Did any of you actually watch (and enjoy) the show?
I mean, when you're working on it all the time, fiddiling with animation minutia, it wouldn't be too much of streach to imagine that you' might get sick of the whole thing after a while... and, of course, the show may not have been up your alley in the first place...

Hello Zoidfarb,
You know, as much as one might get tired of going over every in and out of a show on its way to being birthed, you still get a little tingle when the thing actually shows up on TV. It's like when you have a song on cassette (for you old-timers out there) and you listen to it a zillion times at about the same level of interest, but then the time that you actually catch it on open-air radio, it sounds so much cooler. That's the way it is. Perhaps it's knowing that there are at least a hundred other people out there sharing the experience with you, at the same exact time. And so, I say unto you Zoidfarb, yes; there is still magical nuggetness in Futurama, even for us that laboured (notice the "u") on it so lovingly.
I do wish Rich M. would answer DDCC's question and in response to Jetboy's question about getting a "group showing" together, well, have you ever tried to get a bunch of artists together for an organized event? Good luck.
-the Coch'
