Hello RDS,
I'm a big fan of Futurama and I just recently started writing on message boards, I started a thread on the PEEL site and they shut it down (my thread that is).
I thought that the purpose for these forums was to exchange stories and info with others who love the show as much as I do.
I have a feeling that I've been duped. The only reason I bring this up here is that the thread was about how excited I was to have found this brilliant RDS site. Maybe I'm over reacting but I get the feeling that PEEL is like my high school, clicks and all, and being the new kid sucks.
Has anybody else visited that site and had a problem?

Dats right dawg! I feel you. i stoppped by the PEEL crib under old tags, dig, and those fools were frosty on my vibe. I got new digs in this RDS joint. but i gots to be changin' my tag, they gota buh-ric round heres, dig? The peeps in this joint seem aight, yea?
I godda check with my moms and pops, check sure it's cool i drop dime on this RDS crib. gotta keep it real, aight? man, these dawgs get raw! it's cool yo! theys for real. no fakin' the funk in this crib, dawg!

So I just got back from PEEL and I started a thread that dealt with my topic called "Closing Topics?"
I got 2 responses from a couple of very cool guys then those F#ckin' Nazis shut it down. What's the point? I'll probably learn more about the show here.
I saw that Rich Moore the Supervising Director and Producer signed in how cool is that? And somebody with the screen name Monkey who was a character designer.
Does anybody know what job title the other screen names have?

I feel your pain SimpoRama, I was just on the PEEL site and read your thread, Here's a suggestion start a trivia thread to see how many times the word "and" was used in the first season. That'll give'em something to do.

Jetboy and Simporama(cool name, btw) I think you guys are blowing this way out of proportion. I'm a long time PEEL and new RDS lurker and I've never posted anything here because I'm afraid these guys will make fun of me, but I'm stepping up because I think you're making a big mistake. The Mods at PEEL are concerned that keeping a lot of repeated threads going will crash their website. I don't know why exactly, but I do know it's not out of spite that they closed your thread. They are a good group, give them a chance.
Feel free to start teasing me now Rachel.

I don't know why exactly, but I do know it's not out of spite that they closed your thread. They are a good group, give them a chance. The PEEL site is kind of more organised than sites such as NHC, etc. The mods like to keep the board clean of similar threads, because it has a tendency to crash  The only reason your thread was closed was because there was already an existing topic discussing this site. You weren't to know that, and nobody's closing your threads out of spite. ...and we are a good group |

Thank you Blastina and Nick S for clearing up the PEEL rules. I didn't realize there was a maximum of threads allowed.
Other sites I've been on in the past have had hundreds of threads so I assumed that was the norm. I'm gonna drop this now and focus important stuff like.

Man, is it just me or does anyone else notice that these threads never stay on topic. Look, say I'm a new member. I see this thread, "the Deal with PEEL". Okay, I'm interested in PEEL, so I read it...and by the end it's turned into a sexually charged fetish discussion about skinning people alive?! How disgusting is that?
