I'd have to say that the best stairwell in RDS is the one that leads u behind Jim Golden's office, past the "Eagle's Nest" and up to the 3rd floor. It's the only stairway that, if you got enough momentum, you could literally bust out of a window and fall to a bloody death onto the Glendale concrete sidewalk spotted with post-Giggles puke. By the way, how about Giggles changing it's ridiculously outdated name? You'd be ashamed to say, "Yeah, I'm going to have a beer at GIGGLES." jeez.

Once again, I'm with you 100%, Cochino. That stairwell is the best. There's a certain point about midway that you get a great view of the RDS interior. I mean, where else in the building can you see Slyvia answering the phone, Carson watching TV, Geraldine paging Chad, Scott wearing a heavy unseasonable jacket working at his computer, Daisy chewing her foot, Rodney sacheting across the mezzanine, and Jim Goldin hustling to the Executive rest room all at the same time! It must be kind of like how God sees the earth. And Giggles, give it up, dudes. Your time has past.

Here's a thought -- the guy's who used to own Bar FN (formerly "Duffy's") should buy Giggles, get all that queer 80's psuedo-hip crap out of there, and rename it Duffy's. How f***ing cool would that be? ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Or maybe to keep a name change cost efficient they could rename Giggles by just rearranging the letters. Legs Gig or Egg Gils?

I've seen these things (and more!) on my way up the stairs & have to agree that it really is the best stairwell in the building. Long live the front stairs!

Hey Rikki,
Lest you forget, Hyejun's doorway is visible from that stairway as well.

I think that Rikki's stairwell sounds great but since you can't smoke inside, I'd have to say the alley stairwell. It's outside, you can smoke on it, meet new friends who wander the back streets of Glendale and it used to lead me to my car to go home. God I miss sneaking out of work early. PS. Claudia doesn't read these does she?

That's right, Cochino, and on occassion you can catch a glimpse of Gregg sitting across the desk from Hyejoon gettin' the lowdown on RDK. Folks, if you've never been on these stairs and get the opportunity to visit them, I heartily recommend you check them out. Your soul will thank you. Jetboy, those backalley stairs are pretty cool too. They have a gritty, urban feel to them -- very Scorsese-esque. If you were to garrotte some RDS scumbag, these would be the stairs to do it on.

Hey, good idea, rikki - that's where I'll garotte that phony "Chef" buh-ric if I ever get my mitts on him! Also, I like the stairs leading up to the mezzanine. You get a different view of things from there, an unobstructed view of the buiding from front to back. You can see into the 3D department, the crow's nest, overlook camera, watch the people in production work their @sses off, especially that Design Coordinator guy (bless his heart), and if the mood strikes you, tinkle the ivories of the baby grand at the base of the stairs leading up to the top floor. I can only play the theme to "Close Encounters," but who among us hasn't felt like we've had a close encounter at some point in their lives? And if I ever have a close encounter with that no good "Chef" buh-ric, he's gonna get it. So Says the REAL buh-ric!
