Hi everybody, Besides being the greatest over seas studio, does anyone know if RDS (The genius' behind Futurama and Baby Blues etc..) Is comming up with their own shows? If not maybe this forum would be a great place to throw out ideas and influence those RDS big wigs. One idea I had was a show that would draw on RDS strengths. Okay, it's a show about a baby robot named Miles who lives with his adopted "gay" "human" parents Phil and Mike. Who run a bakery in down town Fredonia. Now being a robot allows Miles the freedom usually looked down upon by most "human" parents. Miles drives the Bakery Planet Express Ship with his best friend Remoh (That's Homer spelled backwards) and delivers cakes and such through out the galaxy.
I have sooooo many ideas for this, the sky's the limit. Reply if you'ld like to hear some or just come up with your own. Just think your idea could be set in the history of Animation.

hey Jetboy,
Cool idea, but can it really work? Sounds a little bit derivative of the Jetsons, if you ask me.
But here's one that I've been batting around: A freelance journalist named Long Mile seeks out stories for a newspaper column which only exists in his head. When he finally hits on a great story idea, he realizes that the newspaper is a fantasy, so he decides to give up on the journalist fancy and turns to a woman, who sires him a few children, which in effect turns the show into a family comedy. The kid's names are Trab, Asil and Eigam. they all turn out to be Taliban-type religious kooks, thus causing constant family quarrels, since the dad (former "journalist") is Christian and the mother is a genuine "Would you like this pamphleteer".
Just an idea.

Sounds fun but what about putting it in space, You mentioned the Jetsons so I'm assuming you're a fan (Who isn't) Maybe they have have robot butler instead of a maid. I don't know just a thought cuz the RDS guys seem to love outer space.

I think that a show that promotes girl power would be great in todays market place. Like maybe a band of powerful princess' from a distant land and each one has a super power that they can use to rid the world of evil maybe even defeat terrorism. How cool would that be? Princess Power!

I don't see why you couldn't just combine Jetboy's modernized Jetsons idea with Cochino's sitcom premise. That would be a great show. Plus, add the girl power angle that Mhole was talking about, and I think you've got a winner! We need programs like this today, what with the threat of terrorism looming over our collective heads. People are anxious to laugh again -- but they also want to think a little, too.

After reviewing Rikki's answer to my question of "What makes The Family Guy so popular?" His conclusion of talking babies and talking dogs made me think just that. What a great idea, only it would be an animated world full of taking babies and dogs. Hmmmm, I may have to sleep on this one and let the pieces come to me in a dream.

Here's a revised idea...
A cat and a dog talk to eachother on a daily basis. The cat lives on the ritzy side of town. The dog is his limo driver. When they get in a horrible accident, the cat's head ends up on the dog's body. Everything gets tricky when you have the natural urges of the dog (ie loving people) collide with the analytic mind of the cat (ie taking advantage of people). It's a modern-day Jeckyl and Hyde idea.
