Avanzino's name seems to be popping up in a lot of these treads but who is he?

Good question DooDooCaCa, I'm pretty sure he was a Storyboard artist on the show. I know he used to be a Director on Ren and Stimpy so maybe he couldn't draw in the Futurama Styleeee.

Jetboy...look, if that's a joke, it's not that funny. If you're serious, man that's just pathetic. I mean, not to be harsh or anything, but half your posts are these questions about stuff that's pretty common knowledge! In the amount of time it took to type your question, post it, me to read it, type a reply, post it, you could have googled HALO twenty million times already! This is a message board meant for the exchange of thoughts and ideas, not a kindergarten class! Leave the questions to the folks that want to know stuff like, "why does your animated water look so crappy" (I'm still miffed at that guy). You know what, I think we should take a lesson from those Mods at PEEL and start cracking down on some of these threads. They're killing what could be a kick @ss website.
Oh, and HALO is a first person shooter like Quake.
Please don't ask what a "first person shooter" is...

Nick S appears to be the guru of this thread and SimpoRama isn't far wrong. Pete was a Director on Ren and Stimpy and on Futurama. Most Animation Directors got their start as Storyboard Artist or Timers then as Assistant Directors then "POOF!" Directors. So SimpoRama, it's not uncommon that a Director also does Storyboards for his own shows. I hope I cleared that up for you.

I've heard that Pete A. will be at the San Diego Comic Con next weekend handing out Futurama hats and t-shirts.

Although I'm not a fan of the show, Peter Avanzino was the supervising director for Drawn Together. Keith Ballard, Author ot the Save FATHER OF THE PRIDE Petition www.petitiononline.com/SaveFotP/ Please click and sign the petition

This thread needs less Avanzino, and more Moore.
