My friends came to visit me in Glendale-hizzy this week, and I took them by to see Rough Draft Studios because they really love Futurama and Drawn together, lol. But when we got there this real tall guy came out with a big huge sort of heroin bruise on his arm. What's going on there? We think maybe they put all the profits into a big drug frenzy sort of thing. WHO KNOWS?!?!!?

ok... the following is a transcript of a letter that was slipped thru our door on a Friday....
Rough Draft Studios 209 N Brand Blvd Glendale, CA 91203
To Rough Draft Studios,
I used to like Futurama. I purchased 2 of the 4 DVD box sets. Then, I noticed that the animators made a point of pairing up white women with dark men, or having white women caring for dark children, in the background characters.
I am tired of this left/liberal racism in the media directed against white men, particularly in the social and sexual arena. Is this some sort of social colonization propaganda by Barry Kumar, who judging by his name is probably a dark skinned man himself?
I am not going to patronize any Futurama products, such as the remaining 2 DVD box sets, the new DVD, or any movies or series continuations to come. I used to recommend the series to friends and acquaintances, but I will no more. Instead, I will point out this racism whenever Futurama comes up.
I will Change my mind only if you change your practices.
An ex-fan
ok... that was the letter...
now "Barry Kumar" please stop your leftist progaganda or well never get to make that DVD movie.

Probably shouldn't tell him about the little blonde girl that turns into the little black girl and the woman's dress that changes from green to purple. (Crowd scene either side of Leela wrapped in banner when Mushu barfs in 300 Big Boys).
Silly me I thought there might be 2 different people at different times might be working on something. I never knew there was a Master Plan.
Which is scarier? If he lives nearby or actually drove there, or he had to buy 2 CDs to make up his mind?

6pac,
I don't know about lodge, but I can tell you a few reasons why you scare me.... Your specific knowledge of Futurama color errors can only mean that you are girlfriendless, a serial masterbator, Trekkie, wish you were a Jedi, spend hours drinking alone while watching Cathouse, have a favorite stripper at Crazy Girls or Valley Ball that you visit weekly, and on occassion have been known to fantasize about your old boss at KFC or maybe your female cousin with the moustache. Do you eed more reasons, or is that enough?

Mmmm, nope. Happened to notice that one by accident. Just noticed the purple/green dress color change after looking at some crowd scene backgrounds grabs on CGEF. I was wondering if they were as detailed as they seem on TV. Didn't notice the form-shifting kid until I recheck them to see if your distant admirer had a point. The two frames they have toggle pretty nicely.
Did notice the Hollywood hills seemed pretty lush in last nights episode. I figured mountain misting might be doable by then.
Some of the stuff you mention is kind of new fangled for me. I remember watching Clutch Cargo and The Twilight Zone when they were new.

Took this pic last Friday of some Glendale locals waiting to enter Giggles: Nevermind the ecto-mist human form floating above the group; instead, what's up with the big gal wearing the fuchsia sweatshirt? Doesn't she know she'll never get into Giggles dressed like that?! Sex it up a little, honey! Weird!

Anyone noticed Geraldine lately? I think she's taking the whole vegetarian thing too far...
