Maybe someone can help me?
I am looking for old cartoon scenes that involve a character after being swallowed by a whale. I have some hazy recollection of scenes like this in some of the old cartoons I watched growing up, (like Warner Bros, maybe?) where a character or characters would sort of camp out in the whale's belly, you know with the big tonsil hanging there, and maybe they have a wee campfire going?
Does that ring a bell to anyone? I know there's a whale belly scene in Pinocchio, but I am sure there are others. I just can't remember them.
Also, if you have some idea of a better place for me to post this question, I'd appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

Well jane, Pinocchio is the mother of all "inside the whale's belly" movies, and nothing specific comes to my mind ("Pinocchio In Outer Space", '64??) Try emailing animation historian Jerry Beck at Cartoon Brew: www.cartoonbrew.com/His email link is at the very bootom of the page. Don't say I never did nothin' nice for you, jane!
