Yeah, i was just wondering. Does anybody who currently works on the show, actually post here? Or would it be humanly possibly, with the amount of hours they have to put into the show itself, that they couldn't possibly fit in any time to do other social things?
It was just an interesting thought, as i haven't been here for quite awhile and the forum seems to of been frozen in time, and i was just wondering who was around.

Welcome back, FF...where ya' been, buddy?
According to my sources, there are a few of current Simpsons artists visiting this board every now and then. But since this is the Rough Draft Studios Testsite® and not the Film Roman Webpage (eeyuch!), it is primarily RDS folks posting here -- and many of those RDS people are Simpsons alumni, so ya' get some of the old and some of the new...
As far as the board freezing in time -- it literally did last October.
Hope that answers your questions. Check back more often, buddy. And bring some chicks.
That's the news from the inside!

by the way, that was just me, i forgot i hadn't signed in, i thought it was odd why i had to put a name LOL.
I tried to pm you then i realised you were a Guest Insider. So i'll just ask you the question. Is there anyway i could contact anybody currently working with The Simpsons? I would be in ur total debt if you could possibly tell me. I swear i wouldn't give it out to the world wide web or do any damage to the person or e-mail address. If you do not find it suitbale to answer on the board, then my e-mail address is pesfanatic@hotmail.com
Thankyou.
TBH, I'm more of a Simpsons Fanatic, so i don't know why i chose Futurama Fanatic, probably because i was in a Futurama mode at the time of joining. Anyway, i'm starting to ramble.

Jesus H. here, back from the dead.
Seeing as the Simpson's animators speak Korean for the most part, with little use for English in good ol' Seoul, I doubt you'll find them posting around these parts.
What the hell, FF, ask away. You never know what might happen.
I'm off to check the gates of heaven. I gotta keep em shut tight with a rusty old bike lock. Wouldn't want the P-O-P-E gettin in! Everybody's gotta earn their own way in... A funny pope hat just don't cut it anymore.

Yeah you know who i mean, i don't mean ping and john from korea, i meant people like Lance Wilder and character designers, etc. Also, does anybody know how i can contact someone who is still working on the show?

Seriously, FF, you must understand that these people have a right to their privacy and we can't be throwing out their contact info to a stranger on the internet, regardless of the fact that they work at the crappiest animation studio in Los Angeles.
If this is about applying for employment on the show, you need to go through the exact same channels as anybody else. Call Film Roman @ 818 761 2544 and they can help you.
Also, it's been said before on this thread that lots of people who post here/troll here work on or have a long assocciation with the Simpsons. You're wearing their patience thin by continuing to ask for private info (that no one will put on the web) instead of just asking your question outright.
And Lance Wilder? Why on earth do you need to talk to him...?-- do you need someone to fetch you a cup of coffee?
I kid Lance.

You guys (esp BOK) dont have to be so snarky and holier than thou (except for you, jesus) to the poor kid. He's obviously sincere, and he did try to pm someone. I don't expect anyone to give out private info to a stranger (i know i wouldn't) but you can't blame him for asking. If you're patience is "wearing thin" because one sincere and pretty darn polite fan is trying to make contact, you need to relax.

Whoa whoa whoa! Let's all just hold up one minute before someone gets hurt! I'm stepping in to try and make sense of this unholy mess of a thread! ;D
Okay, FF, or Luke, as you signed above, you want to get ahold of someone working on the Simpsons -- totally understandable, it's a quality show.
HOWEVER, we just can't start posting or emailing out personal info to people we don't know, regardless of how sincere they sound. And it works both ways...I would never give out your contact info to a stranger, FF.
NOW, here we have our friend Booke, who works here at RDS. Before he worked here, Booke put in a lot of time over at Film Roman on the Simpsons. Dude knows his stuff. He reads your post (and correct me if I'm wrong, BOK) and says you don't need contact info because there's a lot of Simpsons artists past and present reading this message board...they're here...what do you want to know?
BUT, FF won't ask his question and keeps asking how he can contact someone from the Simpsons...
And around and around it goes until BOK loses his cool, and starts laying into FF, (which jane pointed out, is no way to talk to a fan. BTW, cool art on your website, jane.)
SO...that's where we find ourself.
How do we fix this, people? BOK? FF? jane? Help me out, guys!

Thanks Rikki, that was exactly the point I was trying to make. If it came off as snarky and holier than thou, well, I apologize. So I'll say it one more time, FF: there are people who currently work on the Simpsons reading this board. If you post your question or comment, i am certain someone from the show will respond. Other than that, there's not much more we can do for you.
Peace, y'all.

Thanks. & Sorry, I think I overreacted... was feeling strangely defensive of the Simpsons fanatic.
